The TOP 10 Most Fantasy Football Points Ever By A Wide Receiver
By Eddie Sebastian
Last year at my fantasy football draft party, I had to pick a wide receiver in the fourth round. So, it came down to Robert Woods, who I had the previous year, or his teammate Cooper Kupp. Woods is a target monster, and I don’t like change, so I took him, and the eventual league champ took Kupp four picks later. If I pick Kupp, I run away with the League Championship. Woulda, coulda, shoulda, but I didn’t. In the off-season, the Rams made a blockbuster trade with the Lions for quarterback Matthew Stafford, and as soon as he arrives at training camp, Stafford and Kupp become instant bros. He hooked up his bro with 191 targets, 145 receptions, 1,947 receiving yards, and 16 touchdowns. That comes out to 290.7 fantasy points in a standard scoring system. So, where does Kupp rank among the best wide receivers?
Cooper Kupp lands at number 1 and Deebo Samuels at number 6 on our list, but you have to put an asterisk next to their names as they played in the first-ever NFL 17 game schedule in 2021.
Jerry Rice made the list three times. Randy Moss made it twice, but with two different teams, we have the 49ers represented four times, the Rams twice, and the Lions twice. Rice, Moss, Johnson, and Bruce are members of the Football Hall of Fame.
Standard scoring, or as the Millennials call it, NON-PPR, is 1 point for every 10 yards receiving or rushing, 6 points for every touchdown scored, and 2 points if you score on a 2 point conversion. This scoring system applies to running backs, tight ends, and wide receivers.
Most fantasy points ever by a WR in standard scoring

1* | Cooper Kupp, Rams (2021) | 290.7 | 18 | 0 | 1947 | 16 |

WAY TOO EARLY 2022 TOP 12 FANTASY FOOTBALL RANKINGS
WAY TOO EARLY 2022 TOP 12 FANTASY FOOTBALL RANKINGS
The seasonal fantasy football is over, the NFL playoffs are in full effect, and I have way too much time on my hands, so here is my first-round fantasy football mock draft for 2022. I made this list based on standard scoring, aka NON-PPR.
1.) Jonathan Taylor: RB-Indianapolis Colts
2.) Derrick Henry: RB- Tennessee Titans
3.) Austin Ekeler: RB- Los Angeles Chargers
4.) Cooper Kupp: WR- Los Angeles Rams
5.) Davantae Adams: WR- Green Bay Packers
6.) Alvin Kamara: RB- New Orleans Saints
7.) Christian McCaffrey: RB- Carolina Panthers
8.) Dalvin Cook: RB- Minnesota Vikings
9.) Najee Harris: RB- Pittsburgh Steelers
10.) Tyreek Hill: WR- Kansas City Chiefs
11.) Leonard Fournette: RB- Tampa Bay Buccaneers
12.) Nick Chubb: RB- Cleveland Browns
As I said, this is way too early as things could change, like Davantae going to a different team since he’s a free agent at the end of the year. And what’s the status of McCaffrey‘s injury, and who will be his quarterback?

Congrats to the Georgia Bulldogs as they snap a 41-year title drought to win over The Alabama Crimson Tide in the National Championship game. Georgia 33 Alabama 18.

Miami Dolphins: Jaylen Waddle – 104 receptions (most by a rookie in NFL history)
Green Bay Packers: Davante Adams – 1,553 receiving yards (most in Packers history)
Baltimore Ravens: Mark Andrews – 107 receiving yards (most in ravens history)

DISAPPOINTMENTS
Indianapolis Colts: All they had to do was beat the lowly Jacksonville Jaguars are they were in the playoffs. Carson Wentz had a crappy day with 185 passing yards, 1 TD, and 1 interception in their 26-11 loss. Because of their loss, the Pittsburgh Steelers got in instead.
The following coaches were fired on Monday January 10, 2022
Minnesota Vikings: Mike Zimmer

FANTASY FOOTBALL SURPRISES AND DISAPPOINTMENTS- WEEK 17
FANTASY FOOTBALL SURPRISES AND DISAPPOINTMENTS – WEEK 17
By Eddie Sebastian
Happy New Year! Many fantasy football leagues are having their championships this week. Good luck to everybody.
The sports world is mourning the loss of Hall of Fame coach and longtime broadcaster John Madden, who died Tuesday, December 28 at the age of 85. I grew up playing Madden Football and watching him on Sundays with Pat Summerall. Rest in peace, coach.
SURPRISES
Justin Tucker: K.- He booted 4 F.G.s and 1 P.A.T., in the Ravens 20-19 loss to the L.A. Rams. 15.00 points.
Trey Lance: Q.B.-The 49ers needed to win to stay in the playoff hunt. The rookie from North Dakota stepped in for an injured Jimmy Garoppolo and completed 16-of-23 passes for 249 yards, 2 touchdowns, and an interception in the 49ers‘ 23-7 win over the Texans. He also had 31 rushing yards.
Darrel Williams: R.B.- With The Fresh Prince of Helaire out with an injury, his backup ran it 14 times for 88 yards and 2 touchdowns in the Chiefs’ loss to the Bengals.
Ja’Marr Chase: W.R.- Why couldn’t you have had this game two weeks ago when I lost my semifinal game by 6 points? Anyway, the rookie of the year candidate obliterated the Kansas City Chiefs defense with 266 receiving yards and 3 TDs. 44.60 points.
Noah Fant: T.E.- Caught 6-of-7 targets for 92 yards and a touchdown in the Broncos‘ Week 17 loss to the Chargers. Good for 15.20 points.
Pittsburgh: DEF- T.J. Watt and the Steelers Defense had 9 sacks and 2 interceptions while holding the Browns to 14 points. And running back Najee Harris carried the rock for 188 yards and a touchdown in Big Ben’s final home game at Heinz Field.
DISAPPOINTMENTS
Dalvin Cook: R.B. The Vikings running back crapped the bed this week with only 1.30 points. Seriously that’s it. He ran it 9 times for 13 yards and caught 3 passes for 0 yards in the Vikings’ blowout loss to the Packers 37-10.
Antonio Brown: W.R.- A.B. claims the Buccaneers coaches and staffers tried to force him to re-enter the game against the Jets despite a nagging ankle injury he had reportedly tweaked last week in practice. Coach Arians told him to get off the field if he wasn’t going to re-enter the game. Brown removed his jersey and walked off the field, likely ending his N.F.L. career. He only had 2.60 points.
George Kittle: T.E.- The 49ers Tight End had a terrible game against the Texans. 29 receiving yards for 2.90 points.
Tua Tagovailoa: Q.B.- The Dolphins were on a 7 game winning streak and needed a win to keep their playoff hopes alive. Well, it wasn’t meant to be as Tua Tagovailoa crapped the bed against the Titans. He completed just 18-of-38 passes for 205 yards, 0 touchdowns, 1 interception, and a fumble in the Dolphins‘ 34-3 loss. 4.30 points.
Dallas Cowboys: DEF- The last four weeks, Dem Hot Boyz have scored 24.00, 30.00, 25.00, and 32.00 points. On Sunday, they had 2.00 points. The Cowboys only had 1 sack in their 25-22 loss to the Arizona Cardinals.

FANTASY FOOTBALL SURPRISES AND DISAPPOINTMENTS- WEEK 16
By Eddie Sebastian
Many fantasy football leagues are either in their semi-finals or championships this week. Good luck to everybody.
SURPRISES
Ryan Succop: K.- 4 F.G.s, 2 P.A.T.s, 16 points helping the Buccaneers clinch the N.F.C. South.
Joe Burrow: Q.B.- 525 passing yards, 4 passing T.D.s, 11 rushing yards, 38.1 points against the Ravens banged-up secondary.
Justin Jackson: R.B.- Stepped in with Austin Ekeler out due to covid. 64 rushing yards, 98 receiving yards, 2 T.D.s, 1 fumble lost, 30.2 points.
A.J. Brown: W.R.- He’s been on the injured reserve list for the last 3 weeks. On Thursday night, he had 145 receiving yards and 1 T.D. against the 49ers.
Mark Andrews: T.E.- For the third straight week, Baltimore Ravens Tight End had another big day with 125 receiving yards, 1 T.D., 22.5 points against the Bengals.
Dak Prescott: Q.B.- He’s been a dud for the last 3 weeks, but he shredded the Washington Football Team on Sunday Night. 330 passing yards, 4 passing T.D.s, 1 interception, 21 rushing yards, 31.30 points.
Rex Burkhead: R.B.- 149 rushing yards, 2 T.D.s, 26.90 points in the Texans‘ Week 16 win over the Chargers.
DISAPPOINTMENTS
James Robinson: R.B. The Jaguars running back has been diagnosed with a torn Achilles’ and will miss the rest of the season. He had 1.00 point against the Jets.
Julio Jones: W.R.- The Titan‘s wide receiver has been a disappointment all season since being acquired from the Atlanta Falcons. 0.70 points against the 49ers.
George Kittle: T.E.- The 49er’s Tight End had a terrible game against the Titans. 21 receiving yards for 2.10 points.
Matthew Stafford: Q.B. – Failed to throw for at least 200 yards for the first time as a Ram. 197 passing yards, 1 passing T.D., 3 INTs, 8 rushing yards, 9.6 points.
Los Angeles Chargers: DEF– They gave up 35 points and only had 1 sack against the Texans. See Rex Burkhead in SURPRISES.

FANTASY FOOTBALL SURPRISES AND DISAPPOINTMENTS- WEEK 15
FANTASY FOOTBALL SURPRISES AND DISAPPOINTMENTS – WEEK 15
By Eddie Sebastian
Week 15 ended on Wednesday because the N.F.L. moved some games due to a substantial covid outbreak amongst many teams. Speaking of ending, I was 11 minutes away from advancing to the championship game, then Cooper Kupp caught a 30-yard touchdown against the Seahawks, ending my season. I had a chance to draft Kupp, but I took his teammate Robert Woods, who had a solid season but tore his ACL at practice before week 10. So the reason I lost is that my team laid an egg this week, and I have 4 of my players on the Disappointment list to prove it.
SURPRISES
Chris Boswell: K.- Kickers don’t get a lot of love, but Boswell booted 4 field goals and 1 p.a.t in the Steelers‘ upset victory over the Tennessee Titans and helped Pittsburgh keep their playoff hopes alive.
Brandin Cooks: W.R.- He’s the only player on the Houston Texans worth owning. If you’re in the fantasy football playoffs and started him, he rewarded you with 102 receiving yards and 2 touchdowns against the Jaguars. Let’s go, Brandin!
Mark Andrews: T.E.- The Baltimore Ravens have the best Tight End in football, and he had a monster day against the Green Bay Packers. 13 targets, 10 catches, 136 yards receiving, and 2 touchdowns.
Travis Kelce: T.E. After making our S*** list for two consecutive weeks, the second-best Tight End in football erupted for 191 yards receiving and 2 touchdowns.
Jonathan Taylor: R.B.- He might be the number one running back in the 2022 fantasy football drafts. Against a Top 5 New England Patriots defense, he rushed for 170 yards and 2 touchdowns.
Patrick Mahomes: Q.B.- The first quarterback taken in almost every fantasy football draft threw for 410 yards, 3 Tds, and 1 pick against the Chargers on Thursday Night. The K.C. Chiefs are hot as they won their seventh game in a row.
New Orleans: Defense- Against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, they pitched a shut out and had 4 sacks, 1 interception, and 1 fumble recovery for 28 fantasy football points. Who dat? Who dat? Who Dat say dey gonna beat dem Saints?
DISAPPOINTMENTS
Najee Harris: R.B. The Steelers superstar rookie has been phenomenal most of the season, so it was quite the disappointment when he rushed 12 times for 18 yards and only had 2 catches for 8 yards in the Steelers’ Week 15 win over the Titans. This performance is not acceptable for a first-round pick, especially during the fantasy football playoffs.
Ja’Marr Chase: W.R.- The Bengals rookie phenom out of L.S.U. had his worst performance of the year against the Broncos. He had 3 yards receiving. That’s it.
Michael Pittman Jr. – Caught 1 pass for 7 yards before getting ejected for fighting with the Patriots.
Rob Gronkowski: T.E.- The Buccaneers Tight End became Tom Brady‘s number one option after Chris Godwin, Mike Evans, and Leonard Fournette all got injured and had to leave the game. Gronk had a season-high 11 targets but only caught 2 of them for 29 yards against the Saints.
Tom Brady: Q.B.- The goat looked more like a jackass against the Saints on Sunday Night. According to ESPN SportsCenter, Tom Brady has been shut out for the first time in 15 years. As a result, his streak ends at 255 starts. He threw for 214 yards but threw a pick and fumbled once. That’s good for 4.76 fantasy points.
Russell Wilson: Q.B. – The Seahawks needed to beat the L.A. Rams to keep their playoff hopes alive, and Rus let them down. He picked the wrong time to have his worst game the year. 156 yards passing and 1 T.D. for 4.24 fantasy points.
Terry McLaurin: W.R. – He has failed to gain 55 yards receiving in four-straight games for The Washington Football Team. On Wednesday against the Philadelphia Eagles, he had 51 yards.
New England: Defense- The Patriots defense has been lighting it up with double-digit fantasy football points for the last seven weeks. On Saturday, they gave up 27 points to the Indianapolis Colts and gave their fantasy football owners a measly 4 points.

FANTASY FOOTBALL SURPRISES AND DISAPPOINTMENTS- WEEK 14
FANTASY FOOTBALL SURPRISES AND DISAPPOINTMENTS – WEEK 14
By Eddie Sebastian
I won my first-round playoff game this past weekend. How did you do?
SURPRISES
Taysom Hill: Q.B.- Alvin Kamara owners hate this guy because he vultures the red zone touchdowns. The Swiss Army knife completed 15-of-21 passes for 175 yards in the Saints’ 30-9, Week 14 win over the New York Jets, adding 11 carries for 73 yards and 2 touchdowns.
Rashaad Penny: R.B.- The former number 1 draft pick from San Diego State had a monster day against the Houston Texans in his first start of the season. 137 yards rushing and 2 touchdowns.
Robby Anderson: W.R.- He likes any quarterback not named Sam Darnold. The Panthers wide receiver had his first double-digit game since week 1. He had 84 receiving yards and 1 T.D. against the Falcons.
George Kittle: T.E.- I believe the 49ers Tight End will surpass Travis Kelce as the number one tight end in the 2022 fantasy football drafts. He had another impressive day with 151 yards receiving and a T.D. against the Cincinnati Bengals.
James Conner: R.B.- It seems like all he does is score touchdowns. He had two on Monday Night against the Los Angeles Rams, giving him 16 for the season.
Davis Mills: Q.B.- The rookie from Stanford had an excellent game against a good Seattle defense. In non-p.p.r. aka standard leagues, he threw for 331 yards, 1 T.D., and no interceptions for 18.04 points.
Dallas Cowboys: Defense- Against the Washington Football Team, they gave up 14 points and had 5 sacks, 1 interception, 3 fumble recoveries, and 1 T.D. How Bout Them, COWBOYS!!!
DISAPPOINTMENTS
Pittsburgh Steelers: Defense- If T.J. Watt isn’t playing, they suck. They were one of the top-ranked defenses in most fantasy football drafts. On Thursday Night Football, the Vikings Dalvin Cook ran all over them for 205 yards and 2 T.D.s. Minnesota hung 36 points on them.
Nick Chubb: R.B. Had a measly 6.50 fantasy points against the Baltimore Ravens. This performance is not acceptable for a first-round pick, especially during the fantasy football playoffs.
Terry McLaurin: W.R.- Scary Terry is scaring me because he’s on my fantasy football team and is on the s*** list for the second straight week. Against the Cowboys, he had his worst outing of the season, with 0 catches, 0 yards receiving, and he got a concussion.
Travis Kelce: T.E.- He also made the s*** list for the second straight week. The number one drafted tight end in all fantasy leagues only had 27 yards receiving.
Dak Prescott: Q.B.- Last week, Dak had 11.22 fantasy points. This week he crapped the bed with 9.94 fantasy points. Dak is struggling in three of his last 4 games.
Lamar Jackson: Q.B. – 1.18 fantasy points. But he got hurt. Well, many teams in the fantasy football playoffs were counting on him this weekend. You wouldn’t get a do-over if you lost.

FANTASY FOOTBALL SURPRISES AND DISAPPOINTMENTS- WEEK 13
FANTASY FOOTBALL SURPRISES AND DISAPPOINTMENTS – WEEK 13
By Eddie Sebastian
This weekend, many leagues ended their regular seasons and will start their playoffs in week 14.
SURPRISES
Detroit Lions: There will be no 0-16 team as Jared Goff threw a game-winning TD to Amon-Ra St. Brown with no time left on the clock to beat the Minnesota Vikings 29-27. The Lions are 1-10.
New England Patriots: Mac Jones only threw three passes to help the Patriots win their seventh game in a row by a 14-10 score over the Buffalo Bills.
Diontae Johnson: WR- The Steelers wide receiver had 105 receiving yards and 2 TDs against the Ravens. He could have had 3 TDs, but he dropped a 37-yard pass in the first half.
George Kittle: TE- The 49ers Tight End had his best game of the year with 30.60 fantasy points. He rumbled all over the Seattle defense with 181 yards and 2 TDS.
Javonte Williams: RB The rookie from North Carolina should be starting over Melvin Gordon. He had 102 yards rushing, adding six catches for 76 yards and a touchdown against the Chiefs.
Gardner Minshew: QB- The Jaguars traded him to Philadelphia in August for a sixth-round draft pick. He started for injured Jalen Hurts and threw for 242 yards and 2 TDs.
DISAPPOINTMENTS
James Robinson: RB- He’s fumbled two games in a row, which cost him. Coach Urban Meyer pulled him from the game and threw him in the dog house. He had 1.5 fantasy points.
Ezekiel Elliott: RB- Zeke looked slow and ineffective on his 13 carries for 45 yards against the Saints on Thursday night.
Terry McLaurin: WR- Scary Terry had his worst outing of the season, with 22 yards receiving for The Washington Football Team.
Travis Kelce: TE- The number one drafted tight end in all fantasy leagues only had 27 yards receiving.
Dak Prescott: QB- Dak is struggling with just three touchdown passes in his last three games for the Cowboys. He had 11.22 fantasy points against the Saints on Thursday night.

FANTASY FOOTBALL SURPRISES AND DISAPPOINTMENTS- WEEK 12
SURPRISES AND DISAPPOINTMENTS – WEEK 12
By Eddie Sebastian
We’re back after taking a week off to celebrate Thanksgiving.
SURPRISES
Leonard Fournette: RB- Uncle Lenny had 100 rushing yards and scored 4 touchdowns in the Buccaneers 38-31 win over the Indianapolis Colts.
Odell Beckham Jr. :WR- We had an OBJ sighting on Sunday as he caught his first TD of the year against the Packers.
Rob Gronkowski: TE- Tom Brady’s best friend has 13 catches for 194 yards in two games since returning to the Tampa Bay offense. He had 123 yards against the Colts.
Carson Wentz: QB- He had his second 300-yard passing performance in a Colts uniform this season. Even though he threw 2 interceptions, he had 306 passing yards and 3 TDs.
DISAPPOINTMENTS
Dalvin Cook: RB- He got hurt again against the 49ers and will miss his week 13 matchup against the Detroit Lions.
Christian McCaffrey: RB- The first overall pick can be the gift or the curse. He was the number one pick in many leagues and has been put on IR. The Panthers running back is like a Thanksgiving turkey. Stick a fork in his ass because he’s done.
Ja’Marr Chase: WR- The rookie sensation had a measly 39 yards receiving against a banged-up Steelers defense.
Darren Waller: TE- The second-best tight end in the league only had 33 receiving yards even though the Raiders scored 36 points against the Cowboys on Thanksgiving. And he banged up his knee and will not play in week 13 against The Washington Football Team.
Jalen Hurts: QB- He crapped the bed this week with 129 passing yards and 3 interceptions against the last-place New York Giants.

FANTASY FOOTBALL SURPRISES AND DISAPPOINTMENTS- WEEK 10
By John Falabella
JUST ME VENTING
I am a little surprised and disappointed in the play of some of these NFL teams this season. Many teams are inconsistent… The 49ers were a preseason favorite to make the Super Bowl, and they played great on MNF in week 10, showing why they were a preseason favorite, but they laid an egg last week and in several games this season. In week 10 they showed passion, had a great game plan, and had an identity of toughness.
The Buffalo Bills have been one of the NFL’s best teams, but they laid an egg and scored only 6 points against the Jaguars, and then they followed that up with 45 points against the Jets. I hope to see a more consistent play from these top teams during the second half of the season.
SURPRISES
Miami Dolphins: Another one of those inconsistent teams came out to play on Thursday and buried the Ravens in Miami. Look for them to put things together down the stretch.
Cam Newton – It was nice to see Cam Newton back in that Carolina powder blue and white uniform and semi leading the Panthers to victory. He has lost a step, but he is still good at what he does.
Rhamondre Stevenson – The 4th round pick out of Oklahoma stepped in for Damian Harris and shined on Sunday. He went for 100 yards on 20 carries plus 2 TDs. Harris had 5 games in a row with a TD before this weekend, and Stevenson looked just as good.
DISAPPOINTMENTS
Lamar Jackson – Lamar Jackson is a great athlete, but he is far from perfect as a passing QB… On Thursday, he was yelling at his team, but he was part of the problem himself.
Mike Vrabel – C’mon coach, let Adrian Peterson loose!! We all want to see it!!!!
Odell Beckham, Jr – Says he wanted to help the Browns win the Super Bowl, but he left town while they were in the playoff hunt. His highly anticipated debut was even more interesting when Robert Woods tore his ACL. I know Odell doesn’t know the playbook yet but… his debut was, shall I say…DISAPPOINTING!!!
