Week 3 Fantasy Football re-cap
Non PPR aka Standard Scoring studs and duds of the week
I’m on a family vacation in Nashville, TN. I might stick around here for a bit because my #1 fantasy pick, Derrick Henry, got off the schneid and scored two touchdowns for me accruing 25 fantasy points. I was able to catch some highlights on the Red Zone channel and this is what I saw.
Quarterbacks Russell Wilson and Josh Allen are the front runners for league MVP.
The Dallas Cowboys are an average team. The Mitch Trubisky era is over in Chicago. How are the Bears 3-0? Future Hall of Famers, Tom Brady and Big Ben, keep on winning. Stephen Gostkowski took off his socks and kicked six field goals helping the Titans secure a win over the 0-3 Vikings. Another 0-3 team, the Atlanta Falcons, should trade Julio Jones and start re-building. The 49ers junior varsity went to New York and defeated the Giants. The other New York team didn’t fare any better as the Colts defense put up 35 fantasy points and demolished the Jets.
The Cleveland Browns are above .500 for the first time in six years.
They also have the best fantasy running back duo with Nick Chubb and Kareem Hunt. Seahawks running back Chris Carson was injured on a dirty play by the Cowboys. The Eagles played for a tie and are now 0-2-1. The Houston Texans really miss wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins as they lost to the Steelers and are now 0-3. Justin Jefferson looked like Stefon Diggs as he had 23.50 fantasy points in the Vikings loss.
And the weird fantasy statistic of the day:
Bucs wide receiver, Mike Evans, had 2 catches for 2 yards and 2 TD’s.
