Week 4 Fantasy Football re-cap

Non PPR aka Standard Scoring studs and duds of the week

It took a month but the Covid-19 finally impacted the NFL and fantasy football world. The Titans had 5 players test positive for the virus forcing the league to re-schedule the game for a later day. A lot of teams took the L without fantasy stud running backs like Derrick Henry and James Conner. Quarterback Cam Newton also tested positive and the New England vs KC game got moved to Monday Night.

Quarterback Josh Allen is the front runner for league MVP.

He had 26 fantasy football points and the Buffalo Bills are now 4-0 after beating the Las Vegas Raiders. Cleveland Browns wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. looked like OBJ of the New York Giants scorching the Cowboys for 33.40 fantasy football points.

The NFC east is a dumpster fire.

The Indianapolis Colts have the best defense in NFL. The Houston Texans finally fired head coach/GM Bill O’Brien after the Texans lost to the Vikings. They are now 0-4. He shouldn’t have traded DeAndre Hopkins. The Jets need to fire coach Adam Gase already. They drafted Sam Darnold 3 years ago to be their franchise quarterback. Now they are in the Trevor Lawrence sweepstakes. I think it’s Tua time in Miami. The Dolphins aren’t going anywhere with Ryan Fitzpatrick at Quarterback. See what you have with the rookie QB from Alabama. Kliff Kingsbury and the Arizona Cardinals are falling off a KLIFF. He has a 7-12-1 record as the head coach. That air-raid offense only works in college. Dalvin Cook got the Minnesota Vikings offense cooking with his 26.60 fantasy football points.

Tom Brady throws 5 touchdowns to 5 different receivers for the first time in his career.

Tampa Bay Quarterback Tom Brady shredded the Los Angeles Chargers defense with 32.46 fantasy football points.

More key injuries this week. Running backs Nick Chubb and Austin Ekeler will be out at least six weeks. Chubb suffered a mcl sprain and Ekeler pulled his hamstring They were both first round draft picks in a lot of fantasy football drafts. I hope you have their backups.
