If you own QB Deshaun Watson or WR Will Fuller, then you had an excellent Thanksgiving.
Both of them put up monster fantasy football points before my turkey was even out of the oven. Deshaun threw for 318 passing yards and 4 TDs (33.12 points). Two of those touchdowns and 179 yards went to wide receiver Will Fuller (29.10 points). Detroit fired head coach Matt Patricia the next day. Texans 41 Lions 25.
The other team from Texas didn’t fare as well.
The Washington defense had 4 sacks and a pick-six, and Antonio Gibson had 115 rushing yards and 3 TDs (31.60points) running all over the Dallas Swiss cheese defense. Washington 41-Dallas 16. We had two game-winning kicks on Sunday.
Patriots and 49ers take the day
Nick Folk‘s 50-yard field goal with no time left on the clock gave the Patriots a 20-17 win over the Cardinals, and Robbie Gould‘s 42-yard kick was good as time expired as the 49ers beat the Rams 23-20.
Jeremy Chinn is the first Panthers defensive player ever to score 2 TDs in a game…
And it happened on back-to-back plays. It wasn’t enough because the Vikings held on for the 28-27 win. The New York Giants lost quarterback Daniel Jones to a hamstring injury but are in first place in the NFC East with their 19-17 win over the Bengals. Aaron Rodgers and the Packers beat the Bears easily on Sunday Night Football 41-25.
Chicago dropped their fifth straight and moved to 5-6 on the season. Green Bay is 8-3. The New Orleans defense had a field day against a backup wide receiver playing quarterback for Denver. All four of their quarterbacks didn’t suit up because of covid-19. Saints 31-Broncos 3.
Patrick Mahomes and Tyreek Hill put up monstrous fantasy points in their 27-24 win over the Buccaneers. Mahomes had (31.28), and Hill had (44.90). The Jets are still in the Trevor Lawrence sweepstakes as they fall to 0-11 and lose to Fitzmagic and the Dolphins 20-3. Las Vegas can beat the Kansas City Chiefs but will lose to the Falcons 43-6. It was John Gruden’s biggest loss since coming back to the Raiders organization.
What Wentz wrong?
Carson Wentz played like garbage again, and Russell Wilson and D.K. Metcalf led the Seahawks to a 23-17 win over the Eagles on Monday Night. And finally, in the game that the NFL refused to cancel, we had the Pittsburgh Steelers beating the Baltimore Ravens on Wednesday Night Football 19-14. The Steelers are now 11-0. This game was originally scheduled to be played on Thanksgiving, but many of the Ravens players tested positive for covid-19.
Remember the Titans
The Tennessee Titans took the lead from the Colts in the AFC South division with a huge win on Sunday. Derrick Henry had a monster fantasy football day with 178 rushing yards and 3 TDs. (36.50 fantasy points}. A.J Brown also contributed in the 45-26 victory with 98 receiving yards and a TD. King Henry is leading the NFL with 1,257 rushing yards.
He’s Back!
The Eck is back, baby! Running back Austin Ekeler, a first-round draft pick in many 12 and 14 team leagues, made his return after nine weeks of being on the injured reserve list when he pulled his hamstring against the Tampa Bay Bucs. He had a decent day with (12.90) fantasy points, but it wasn’t enough. Josh Allen and the Bills were too much for the Chargers. The Buffalo defense held wide receiver Keenan Allen, to 40 yards. The Chargers head coach needs to go. He has terrible time management skills. He cost them at least three field goals. Bills 27 Chargers 17.
The Juice is Loose
The Juice is back! Wide receiver Jarvis Landry scored his first touchdown of the year and had 143 receiving yards in the Browns 27-25 win over the Jaguars. Mayfield threw for 258 yards and two touchdowns and could have had two more, but he overthrew his receivers. Running back Nick Chubb had 144 yards rushing and a touchdown. Cleveland is now 8-3, and Jacksonville is in the Trevor Lawrence sweepstakes at 1-10.
