FANTASY FOOTBALL 2020 WEEK 10 RECAP – STUDS AND DUDS
WEEK 10 FANTASY FOOTBALL RE-CAP
NON PPR AKA STANDARD SCORING STUDS AND DUDS OF THE WEEK
Week 10 started on Thursday night with Colts putting a beat down on the Tennessee Titans 34-17. Derrick Henry only had a measly 10 fantasy points. Lions kicker Matt Prater drilled a 59-yard field goal to help the Lions escape with a 30-27 victory over the Washington Football Team. The Jaguars played the Packers tough, but it wasn’t enough as Aaron Rodgers hit Davante Adams for the go-ahead TD in a 24-20 win. After getting their asses handed to them by the Saints last week, Brady, Gronk, and the Bucs took their frustrations out on the Panthers 46-23. Speaking of the Saints, Drew Brees suffered a rib injury and was replaced by Jameis Winston in a 27-13 win over the 49ers junior varsity. The Giants win an ugly one 27-17 and ruin the Eagles Alshon Jeffrey’s 2020 debut (no catches on one target). Tua Time is 3-0 as a starter, and the Dolphins beat the Chargers 29-21. Broncos QB Drew Lock sucks. He threw four interceptions in the Raiders 37-12 win. New England running back Damien Harris led the ground and pound attack with 121 yards as the Patriots put in a solid team effort in a 23-17 win over the Ravens. Nick Foles is not the answer at quarterback for Chicago. They are 2-5 with him as the starter. Adam Thielen scored two touchdowns in the Vikings 19-13 win over the Bears on MNF.
Nick Chubb screw bettors and his fantasy football owners!
Cleveland running back Nick Chubb had missed the last four games to an injury. He returned on Sunday and carried the rock 19 times for 126 yards and a touchdown. With less than a minute left in the game, he broke loose on a 59-yard run all but closed out the Browns‘ 10-7 win over the Texans. He decided to step out of bounds at the 1-yard line instead of running into the end zone for a touchdown that would’ve covered the 4.5 point spread. The bettors were not happy, nor were his fantasy owners. He finished the day with 18.60 points instead of 24.60.
Cards win on Hopkins‘ epic Hail Murray TD catch
Buffalo QB Josh Allen threw what seemed like the walk-off touchdown to Stefon Diggs with 35 seconds left in their game. Instead, with 11 seconds left and no timeouts remaining, Kyler Murray rolled out to his left and chucked a 43-yard prayer to the end zone that was caught by DeAndre Hopkins for the game-winning score 32-30. This was an important win for the Cards because they are now in first place in the NFC West. The Seahawks were first to third in the division after they lost to the Rams 23-16.
Steelers blow out Bengals 36-10
Big Ben came off the COVID-19 list and threw four touchdowns vs. the Bengals. Diontae Johnson and JuJu Smith-Schuster each had one touchdown, and rookie Chase Claypool had two. Cincinnati is a bad team, and Pittsburgh is now 9-0.
