Welcome back, fantasy football enthusiasts! In this second part of our series, “Top 20 Quality Starting Quarterbacks for Fantasy Football in 2023,” we dive deeper into the quarterbacks who are poised to make a significant impact this season. From seasoned veterans to rising stars, these players bring a combination of skill, strategy, and potential that can elevate your fantasy team to new heights. Join us as we explore why Daniel Jones, Aaron Rodgers, Geno Smith, Tua Tagovailoa, and others should be on your radar for your upcoming drafts.

10.Daniel Jones: (New York Giants) Daniel Jones benefits from upgraded options at his disposal, including Jalen Hyatt, Paris                    Campbell, Isaiah Hodgins, and Darius Slayton. With these improved weapons and Saquon Barkley in the backfield, Jones has the              potential for a breakout season.

  1. Aaron Rodgers: (New York Jets) Aaron Rodgers enjoys a total offense now that he’s got the likes of Garrett Wilson, Mecole Hardman Alan Lazard, Tyler Conklin, and Breece Hall. This Jet’s team has the most complete offense that we’ve seen Aaron have in quite some time.
  2. Geno Smith: (Seattle Seahawks)Gino Smith is currently trending up. With the likes of DK Metcalf, Tyler Lockett, Jackson Smith-Njigba, Kenneth Walker, and Zach Charbonnet as his weapons, there’s an excellent opportunity for him to score a lot of points. Smith showed last year that he can handle that type of offense.
  3. Tua Tagovailoa: (Miami Dolphins) I would like to have Tua higher in the rankings because I believe he can perform at a higher level. However, there is some concern about his availability for all 17 games, especially with a capable backup in Mike White. This uncertainty lowers his ranking a bit.
  4. Kirk Cousins: (Minnesota Vikings) Kirk Cousins has moved down a couple of spots in the rankings. Although he no longer has Adam Thielen, he has added Jordan Addison to his receiving corps. Some question marks also surround Alexander Mattison and how the team will balance the running and passing game. Cousins remains a solid option at number 15.
  5. Jared Goff: (Detroit Lions)Jared Goff would have a higher ranking if Jameson Williams were available for the entire season. However, since he will miss the first few games due to a gambling suspension, Goff’s potential is limited. Nonetheless, he still has some decent options in the passing game like Amon-Ra St. Brown.
  6. Russell Wilson: (Denver Broncos) With Russell Wilson now in a Sean Payton offense, we saw improvement in his performance towards the end of last season. Playing under Payton should provide plenty of opportunities for Wilson to put up good numbers.
  7. Derek Carr: (New Orleans Saints) Derek Carr’s ranking is influenced by the uncertainty surrounding Michael Thomas’s availability for the season. If Thomas is not on the field, Carr’s options become limited. Additionally, the potential absence of Alvin Kamara adds further concern.
  8. Kyler Murray: (Arizona Cardinals)Kyler Murray’s ranking is a bit cautious at this time due to his health. If he is fully healthy by the start of the season, he would be ranked much higher, likely in the top eight. However, until his health is confirmed, it’s better to exercise caution and not take unnecessary risks.
  9. Brock Purdy: (San Francisco 49ers) Brock Purdy makes the list due to the potential of the San Francisco 49ers’ offense. The team has three quarterbacks they consider franchise-caliber, including Purdy, Trey Lance, and Sam Darnold. Whoever starts for the 49ers will have the opportunity to score fantasy points in Kyle Shanahan’s quarterback-friendly system. However, we’ll have to wait and see who emerges as the starter.

Please note that these rankings are subjective and may differ from other sources. It’s always a good idea to consider your league settings, player performance, and other factors when making fantasy football decisions.
