So, in case you missed it, Tyreek Hill just got voted the #1 player in the NFL by his peers, and the Dolphins are making headlines with their jaw-dropping contract offer.
The Dolphins are like, “You know what? Let’s throw $90 million his way, with $65 million guaranteed.” Yeah, that’s right—highest paid wide receiver ever. And Tyreek, aka “The Cheetah,” is loving every second of it. He’s out here saying Tua Tagovailoa’s about to win MVP in 2024 because of all the offseason magic. Yep, Judge Philip Gutierrez decided the testimonies were more flawed than a botched fantasy draft. NFL 1, subscribers 0. I’m guessing the judge just scored Super Bowl tickets for life. Coincidence? You be the judge (pun intended).
And then there’s Jerry Jones, sitting on his $10 billion empire over in Dallas, claiming, “We’re all in; it’s all right there.” But somehow, “all in” doesn’t include paying CeeDee Lamb or Dak Prescott. I guess that’s how you keep the billions rolling, right Jerry? But hey, while Jerry’s swimming in cash, ESPN’s been cutting ties. Sorry RGIII and Sam Ponder, but you’ve been benched to make room for Jason Kelce. Ouch!
