Fantasy Football

Amazon Prime gave us a good game Thursday night between the Arizona Cardinals and the New Orleans Saints. All-Pro Wide Receiver DeAndre Hopkins returned from a six-game suspension and helped the Cardinals win 42-34. Eno Benjamin rushed 12 times for 92 yards and a touchdown for the Cardinals. Quarterback Dak Prescott returned to the Cowboys after missing 5 games with a thumb injury. Unfortunately, he had a low-scoring fantasy football day with only 207 yards passing and 1 touchdown. The…

Once again, Amazon Prime found a way to bore us to death with the Washington Commanders vs. Chicago Bears on Thursday Night Football. It was 3-0 at halftime, and I was falling asleep. Wide receiver Dante Pettis caught 4-of-7 targets for 84 yards and a touchdown for the Bears. In the year’s feel-good story, Commanders running back Brian Robinson Jr. scored the game-winning touchdown 46 days after being shot. Saquon Barkley rushed 22 times for 83 yards and one touchdown…

You have to hand it to Amazon. They managed to broadcast something more boring than Rings of Power. The Thursday Night game between the Colts and Broncos will go down in history as one of the worst games ever. Running back Jonathon Taylor didn’t play, and quarterbacks Russell Wilson and Matt Ryan are on the decline. Quarterback Josh Allen could have broken a single-game record of 554 passing yards in a game that’s been on the books since 1951. Instead,…

I took a much-needed month off, but now I’m back in full fantasy football mode. Here is what I have seen in the last four weeks.   Running Back Jonathan Taylor is a bust. He was a consensus #1 draft pick in most fantasy football league drafts. In week one, he rushed for 161 yards and a T.D. but hasn’t done anything since then, and now he is dealing with an ankle injury. Christian McCaffrey is coming off two straight…

Week Three of the NFL preseason is here. Did you know that Thursday Night games are streaming on Amazon? Drew Lock was named the starting QB for the Seahawks. Good lock with that. They should have traded for Baker Mayfield. Rob Walton Voted in as Broncos Owner, Largest Price Of US Sports Team Ever. $4.65 Billion. He’s part of the Walmart family. It must be nice to have that kind of spare change lying around. Disgruntled Linebacker Roquan Smith demands…

Week Two of the NFL preseason is here. Some kid reporter asked Coach Bellichick about his thoughts on fantasy football. He says fantasy football doesn’t mean anything to me. He won’t be playing fantasy football anytime soon and does not care about fantasy football. And he doesn’t give a damn about the Dolphins tampering with the GOAT, aka Tom Brady. Goodell lowered the hammer on the fish by stripping them of 1st and 3rd round picks, fining them $1.5 million,…

Football is officially here. The Las Vegas Raiders will take on the Jacksonville Jaguars in the 2022 Hall of Fame Game at 8 p.m. ET Thursday, Aug. 4, during Enshrinement Week. The game will be aired on NBC. The Trey Lance era has begun in San Francisco. Coach Shanahan says, “We have moved on to Trey.” So Jimmy G will probably end up with the New York Giants. Julio Jones wants a Super Bowl ring, and he has a new…

NFL training camps started yesterday. We are glad to be back for our 21st year in business. Please order your kits asap as UPS has a shortage of drivers, and gas prices are through the roof, so what used to take 3 days to ship is now 4-5 days.   Kyler Murray got paid $230.5 Million by the Arizona Cardinals. He will make $45 million per year. That’s more in one year than the entire Oakland A’s roster. That’s the…

The first six months of this year have come and gone, and football training camps start next week. We are glad to be back for our 21st year in business. Please order your kits asap as UPS has a shortage of drivers, and gas prices are through the roof, so what used to take 3 days to ship is now 4-5 days.   NFL training camps start next week on the 25th.
