I watched a YouTube video of The fantasy Football Counselor, and he talked about 4 gems that he loves in the 2022 drafts. I agree with him on three of them.

The first gem is Ja’Marr Chase. I believe in drafting two running backs in the first three rounds of my draft. I play in a 14 team league, so wide receivers are being drafted in the first round. In the sixth round of my draft last year, I picked him ahead of Antonio Brown. I’m so glad I did that because I think Ja’Marr is the best wide receiver in the game. Last year he had 128 targets, 81 receptions, 1,455 yards, and 13 touchdowns. This rookie finished fifth in PPR amongst wide receivers. He is the best Bengals receiver since A.J. Green. Joe Burrow wanted the Bengals to draft his former LSU teammate instead of offensive line-man Penei Sewell, and they made the right choice.

Is Javonte Williams a top-three running back if Melvin Gordon leaves for another team in free agency? He had 203 attempts, 903 rushing yards, 4 TDs last year. And another 316 receiving yards and another 3 TDs. Of course, these numbers will go up if Gordon the vulture is gone, but Broncos GM George Paton confirms interest in re-signing Gordon. If Gordon is re-signed, then Javonte is an RB2.

Speaking of Russell Wilson, he is another gem in this draft. He will probably be the 11th quarterback taken in most drafts. I see a resurgence in his game. He’s in a new city with many unique weapons like Jerry Jeudy, Courtland Sutton, and Javonte Williams. There is a youtube video of Russ and Jeudy training together. It also marks the first time in NFL history that a Super Bowl winning quarterback has been traded to the team he beat in the Super Bowl (Wilson and the Seahawks beat the Broncos 43-8 in Super Bowl XLVIII)

Derrick Henry is well rested since he only played in eight games last season but still managed to rush for 937 yards and 10 TDs. He would have run for over 2,000 yards if he had played all 17 games as he did in 2020. Henry carried my fantasy team into the playoffs that season. I hope people pass on him because of his injury because if he falls to me, I’m drafting him.

However, we will still do a fun photoshoot with gorgeous models donning adorable baseball uniforms, post the pictures on our social media, and plan to sell them in 2023.
