Week 16 could have been better for me. My starting quarterback, Jalen Hurts, and starting wide receiver Chris Olave were both injured in week 15, so I didn’t have them for the championship game. As a result, I ended up losing by three points. 

 

Thursday Night Football saw the Jaguars roll the Jets with ease 19-13 as Zach Wilson struggled for New York. Quarterback Trevor Lawrence also had 51 rushing yards with a touchdown for Jacksonville.

 

The Vikings edge the Giants 27-24 on Greg Joseph’s game-winning 61-yard field goal. Wide receiver Justin Jefferson caught 12 of 16 targets for 133 yards and a touchdown in Saturday’s win over the Giants. Saquon Barkley put together another nice day, and he capped it off with a 27-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter. He finished the day with 84 yards rushing and a touchdown, adding 49 receiving yards for New York.

 

The Patriot’s comeback comes up short in a 22-18 loss to the Bengals. Tee Higgins had 128 receiving yards and a touchdown for the Bengals. Quarterback Joe Burrow had 375 passing yards with three touchdowns for Cincinnati. 

 

Brock Purdy leads the 49ers over the Commander 37-24 for their eighth straight win. Tight end George Kittle has scored four touchdowns in the last two weeks, and on Saturday, he had 120 receiving yards and two touchdowns for San Francisco. 

 

The Lions can’t stop the Panther’s ground game in a 37-23 loss. Carolina had 320 rushing yards. D’onta Foreman had 165 yards, Chuba Hubbard had 116, and quarterback Sam Darnold had 20 yards. Quarterback Jared Goff had 355 yards passing and three touchdowns for the Lions.

 

The Chiefs take down the Seahawks 24-10 in the freezing cold. Patrick Mahomes at 224 passing yards with two touchdowns and rushed in for another. 

 

The Texans are finally back in the win column with an upset of the Titans. Running back Derrick Henry had 126 yards touchdown in Tennessee’s 14-19 Loss to Houston. 

 

The Denver Broncos fired head coach Nathaniel Hackett after the LA Rams blew them out 51-14 on Christmas Day. The Ram’s defense had six sacks, four interceptions, and a touchdown. Running back Cam Akers won many guys their Fantasy League Championships with 118 yards rushing and three touchdowns. Tight end Tyler Higbee also had a big day with 94 receiving yards and two touchdowns.

 

The Buffalo Bills win their third straight division title on Christmas Eve with a 35-13 win over the Bears. The Buffalo defense held Chicago to 13 points while adding two sacks, one interception, and one fumble recovery. Running back Devin Singletary had 106 rushing yards with one touchdown.

 

The Buccaneers rallied to be Cardinals in overtime, 19-16. Running back James Conner had 79 rushing yards and a touchdown in the loss for the Cardinals.

 

The Chargers clinch the postseason with a win over the Colts on Monday Night Football. Running back Austin Ekeler had 67 rushing yards with two touchdowns for Los Angeles.

 

The Cowboys beat the Eagles 40 -34 and kept their division title hopes alive. Devonta Smith had 113 receiving yards and two touchdowns for Philadelphia. Wide receiver Ceedee Lamb had 120 receiving yards and two touchdowns for Dallas.

 

The Steel Curtain shuts down the Raiders 13-10. The Pittsburgh defense had three interceptions and three sacks.
