NFL preseason week 2 is wrapping up, and boy, it’s been a wild ride—especially if you’re a Minnesota Vikings fan. Their shiny new rookie quarterback, J.J. McCarthy, is out for the season after a tragic meniscus tear. Ouch. And just when you thought it couldn’t get worse, WR Jordan Addison had to be carted off the field with an ankle injury after trying to catch a pass against Cleveland’s starters in a joint practice. Looks like the Vikings are off to a great start. 🙄

Meanwhile, in Green Bay, Coach Matt LaFleur practically turned green himself when asked if the Packers have a true WR1. His response? “I want to vomit.” Yeah, same, Matt. In the fantasy world, though, the Packers’ wide receivers might as well be WR3s—perfect for when your starters are on a bye or you feel like gambling on the waiver wire.

And speaking of drama, let’s talk about the Big Apple. Aaron Rodgers, who spent the entire 2023 season on the sidelines and then skipped mandatory minicamp for a little vacation in Egypt, has declared, “I don’t think I need to” play in the preseason. Bold move, Aaron. I’m sure that’ll go over well with the Jets fans.

So, while the NFL teams sort out their mess, why not get your fantasy football draft board sorted? Our boards are ready to go, even if your favorite team isn’t.
