Hello, fantasy football enthusiasts! Today, we’re continuing our theme of the week by diving into some exciting fantasy football sleeper picks for 2024 for the quarterback and tight end positions. These are players getting picked at 110 or later in fantasy football drafts this year, and they could be the key to giving your team the edge. If you missed our previous discussions on running backs and wide receivers, make sure to check them out.

Quarterback Sleepers

Matthew Stafford

Matthew Stafford is currently going off the board as the 19th quarterback at pick 132. Last year, Stafford played 15 games and, if paced out for a full 17-game season, he would have been just five yards short of leading the NFL in passing yards. Many view the Rams’ success last year as a fluke, but it was actually a result of better-than-expected performance from their offensive line and weapons.

Stafford’s PFF passing grade last year was the best of his 15-year career. He has only improved with age, and now he has two outstanding weapons in Puka Nacua and Cooper Kupp. Additionally, Demarcus Robinson, as a wide receiver three and a solid run game with Kyren Williams, bolster his supporting cast. With Aaron Donald retiring, the defense might give up more points, forcing Stafford to sling the ball more.

Last year, despite not having a fully healthy Kupp, Stafford was a top-14 fantasy quarterback in points per game. If a few more touchdowns skew toward him this year, he could be in for a monster season. Given his ADP, Stafford is my favorite sleeper quarterback for 2024.

Deshaun Watson

Deshaun Watson, currently the 146th player off the board and QB22, is another sleeper to watch. Despite off-field issues affecting his performance, Watson showed signs of improvement last year. In five games (excluding one where he played only a few snaps), he averaged over 28 rushing yards and threw for fewer than 210 yards only once. His passing yards per game and fantasy points per game both increased compared to the previous year.

Watson’s supporting cast is solid with Amari Cooper, Elijah Moore, David Njoku, and Jerome Ford. The offensive line, when healthy, is top-five in the NFL. If Watson takes another step forward, he could be a low-end QB1, making him a valuable pick at his current ADP.

Tight End Sleepers

Dallas Goedert

Dallas Goedert of the Philadelphia Eagles is being picked at 110 overall. While the Eagles’ passing offense slowed down in the second half of last year, Kellen Moore’s arrival as the offensive coordinator could revitalize it. Moore’s fast-paced, pass-heavy offense should benefit Goedert, who has consistently put up solid yardage numbers.

In PPR leagues, Goedert is especially valuable. Despite limited red zone usage, his high involvement in the offense means he could be a high-volume player with 800 receiving yards and 65-70 catches. The hate on Goedert has gone too far, and he offers great value at his current ADP.

Tyler Conklin

Tyler Conklin of the New York Jets is another under-the-radar sleeper. Despite being the only tight end with at least 58 catches in each of the last three seasons alongside big names like Travis Kelce and George Kittle, Conklin remains undervalued. His role as a slot receiver and his deep target usage make him a valuable asset.

With Aaron Rodgers as the quarterback, Conklin could see an increase in touchdowns. If he adds just three to four touchdowns to his previous seasons’ stats, he could easily be a low-end TE1. Given his current ADP, Conklin is a solid late-round pick.

Hunter Henry

Hunter Henry of the New England Patriots is another tight end sleeper. Despite a malnourished offense, Henry managed to score six of the Patriots’ 16 passing touchdowns last year. With a potentially revitalized offense under a new coaching staff, Henry could continue to be a reliable red zone target.

If the Patriots’ offense improves, Henry could score five to seven touchdowns, making him a valuable late-round pick. His red zone efficiency makes him a great target for those looking for a touchdown-dependent tight end.

Noah Fant

Noah Fant of the Seattle Seahawks is a high-upside sleeper. With Shane Waldren as the new offensive coordinator, the Seahawks’ offense will be more pass-heavy, giving Fant more opportunities. Last year, Fant’s athleticism and speed allowed him to make big plays, and with less competition for targets, he could have a breakout season.

Fant’s extension and increased role in the offense make him a valuable late-round pick. If he can stay healthy and capitalize on his opportunities, Fant could end up as a top tight end.

Conclusion

When drafting your fantasy football team, it’s crucial to look beyond the obvious picks and find those hidden gems who can provide value well beyond their ADP. Matthew Stafford and Deshaun Watson are great Fantasy football sleeper picks 2024 at quarterback, offering significant upside at a low cost. At tight end, Dallas Goedert, Tyler Conklin, Hunter Henry, and Noah Fant are all poised to outperform their draft positions.
